Understanding Dementia
This self-paced course provides a comprehensive introduction to dementia, tailored for healthcare professionals, family caregivers, community workers, and the general public in Ireland. Learners will explore dementia types, signs and symptoms, Irish care policies, person-centered care models, communication strategies, and available support services. Through interactive elements, real-life Irish examples, and evidence-based guidance, participants will build practical knowledge and confidence to support those living with dementia.
