This Mental Health & Wellbeing Awareness course provides learners in Ireland with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to understand and support mental health. Across five modules, it explores what mental health and wellbeing mean, recognises common conditions, and tackles myths and stigma. Learners gain practical tools for promoting resilience, mindfulness, and positive lifestyle choices. The course also covers how to recognise when others may need support, apply active listening, and connect people to Irish services. Finally, it highlights workplace and community wellbeing, emphasising legal and ethical responsibilities. Designed to be engaging and practical, it empowers learners to foster healthier environments.

Understand the meaning of mental health and the spectrum from wellness to illness. Recognize common mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and stress. Learn to identify early warning signs and changes in behaviour. Challenge stigma and misconceptions surrounding mental illness. Explore the role of self-care and resilience in maintaining good mental health. Understand workplace responsibilities for supporting mental wellbeing.
