Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
This course teaches learners about their safeguarding responsibilities and how to protect vulnerable adults. It explains how to spot abuse and the full procedure to deal with it, so that all adults can be kept safe from harm.

Course Agenda

Understand what constitutes abuse and neglect in adults at risk. Recognize the signs and indicators of different abuse types. Learn how to respond appropriately to disclosures or suspicions. Understand safeguarding legislation and policy frameworks. Report concerns promptly following safeguarding procedures. Support empowerment and the person’s right to make choices. Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners. Maintain confidentiality and accurate records. Recognize whistleblowing responsibilities. Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and zero tolerance for abuse.
